You should send that pic to Michelle Malkin.
She's posting many of them.
It is certainly worthy!

I did send it to Malkin, and she ignored me (so far). Fie!

And yeah, I know Blogger is owned by Google. And I make extensive use of Google video here.

I however, do not use Google desktop, as I hate clutter on my screen.

I'm seriously not a Google fanboy! I just think it's being made out to be a bigger deal than it is. I care more about sweatshops than this.

Google makes some products that are good and some products that suck (i.e. Google Talk - maybe my expectations were just higher because it came from Google. Google Sets - I give it 5 classic rock bands and it tells me TLC is similar?!). Their web search can't be beat, I think the Chinese people will benefit even if it's censored.

What I don't get about the situation is, China already blocks access to any sites they don't approve of. So censoring search results just filters out links that would be dead anyway. I'm thinking what they really wanted censored are the cached copies of pages that Google has.

And you know, Blogger is owned by Google. You cannot escape, you will be assimilated. :-P

I just got an e-mail from the people who run my company's internal website (which I've never visited) wishing me a happy Chinese New Year. The invasion has begun. :(

heh. i dont think boycotts are all that effective.

I'm gonna cross my fingers and hope the Chinese people - who are not really our enemies in the long run - are net beneficiaries. supposedly the number of Christians in China is skyrocketing, and thats almost always a precursor to political freedom anyway.

(*of course, political freedom is minor compared to the freedom Christ brings, but that's a sermon for another day :p)
